[Call for Papers] FINTECH: Emerging Trends, Future Directions

What impact will Fintech have across the entire financial supply chain industry over the next five years? What emerging and future technologies/trends will enable new financial services? What will the regulatory climate look like? How will incumbents compete? What new market opportunities will arise? An upcoming issue of Cutter Business Technology Journal invites insight from thought leaders, business practitioners and academics.

Article ideas may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • What emerging and future technologies will disrupt the financial services industry over the next five years? How will they enable new financial services and new markets?
  • What new business models are on the horizon?

  • What is the future of crowdfunding and ICOs? Will they continue to grow or decline?
  • How will financial services incumbents stay competitive? How will they engage digital natives?
  • What new Fintech partnerships can we expect to see? What competitive advantage will they gain from these new partnerships?
  • How will the investment banking industry leverage Fintech?
  • How are different global and national institutions approaching regulation? How will new regulations impact the future of Fintech and innovation? What new challenges will they present?
  • What/how will new technologies allow for financial inclusion?
  • What types of financial services/opportunities will be offered to the unbanked or under-banked markets?
  • What can be done to reach underserved groups and geographical areas?
  • What new opportunities will open banking offer and how will it affect the traditional banking industry?
  • What is the future for Insurtech and Regtech?
