Researchers have observed a new threat using malicious memes posted on Twitter to receive command-and-control (C&C) instructions. Trend Micro observed that the malicious activity begins after a threat detected as “TROJAN.MSIL.BERBOMTHUM.AA” executes on an infected machine.
